Susan Burgess - City-Council Representative - At Large

To the residents of the Sardis Roads Area -
Charlotte NC:

Greetings, Sardis Roads Neighbors,As chairperson of the City Council's Housing and Neighborhood Development Committee, I am very impressed with your web site. I wish every neighborhood was as cyber-organized as yours. In fact, I plan to share this idea far and wide in our city. Congratulations on leading the way!

I love our city. Charlotte was once described as the city with the neighborliness of Mayberry and the business acumen of Zurich.

Our challenge is maintain our friendly character as we grow and prosper. Organizing neighborhoods so that people can know each other, communicate, and share concerns and celebrations is really very important. (Another challenge of growth is keep up with providing the public infrastructure to accommodate our population!) Your site will help keep your neighborhoods safe. I hope you will use it to enhance your Neighborhood Watch program and communicate through your community police officers.

Please let me know how I may better serve your neighborhoods. I answer every call and email and stay as accessible as possible! I want to know what's on your mind.

My warmest regards,
Susan Burgess
Charlotte City Council Member @ Large
