Cramer:
Kit
Cramer was elected as an at-large member and vice-chairperson
of the Board of Education in 2003. She serves as group vice
president for education at the Charlotte Chamber, where she is
an advocate for K-12 and higher education, as well as
workforce development. Prior to her work at the Chamber, she
served as a school system public information officer in both
Charlotte and Florida.
Cramer
is past-president of the Charlotte Chapter of the Public
Relations Society of America and received the 2000 Infinity
Award, presented by the Charlotte Chapter of PRSA. She was
profiled in the Charlotte Business Journal's 2000 edition of
"40 Under 40." A native of Jacksonville, Fla.,
Cramer is a graduate of the University of Florida. She and her
husband, Mark, are the parents of a son and daughter.
