To
the residents of the Sardis Roads Area -
Charlotte NC:
When I campaigned for six months in 2003, I heard the same four things again and again throughout Mecklenburg County that parents and families were asking for in the education of their children in public schools:
1. Qualified Teacher
2. Safe Environment
3. School close to home
4. Stability
These are still the main four things families are demanding from CMS and I am working toward that end. My goal is for the citizens in Mecklenburg County to be able to say "We have the best K-12 public education in the nation."
I am your "keeper of the public trust," by serving as your at-large member on the Board of Education in Mecklenburg County. I will continue to listen, do my homework, study the issues, and vote responsibly. I strive to be the voice of reason and logic on your Board of Education.
