Don Lochman, a Republican, represents Charlotte City Council District 7. Elected in 1999, he is serving his third term as a City Council Member.

Council member Lochman serves as Chair of the Budget Council Committee, Vice Chair of the Restructuring Government Committee and is a member of the Housing & Neighborhood Development and Economic Development & Planning Committees.
