Park is still quite accessible for Sardis Road residents. With a
whopping 265 acres, Beatty Park is one of Charlotte's largest parks.
Amenities include facilities for basketball, softball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, and horseshoes. There are also kids playgrounds, a gorgeous lake, an outdoor and indoor shelter, and plenty of walking trails and mountain bike trails. The conference center is something that you should check out for your next big function. With a capacity of 200 people, the rustic ski resort atmosphere provides a wonderful ambiance for any gathering. Lights, water, power, restrooms, grill, air conditioning/heat, and kitchen are all yours at no extra charge. County residents can rent the facility for under $250 for weekdays and under $500 per day for weekend days and holidays. You won't find a better bargain anywhere in Charlotte.
